What is a travel eSIM?
A digital SIM you install by scanning a QR code. It gives your phone mobile data in another country without a plastic SIM card and without roaming charges.
Will an eSIM work on my phone?
Most recent iPhones (XS and newer) and many recent Android phones (for example Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel) support eSIM. Your phone must also be unlocked, not tied to one network.
When do I get my eSIM?
After payment we email the QR code and activation details, usually within a few minutes. You can also see them on your order page.
Do I keep my phone number?
Yes. The eSIM only gives you data. Your existing SIM and number stay active for calls and SMS.
When should I install it?
Install it before you travel while you are on Wi-Fi, and switch it on when you arrive. Do not delete the eSIM after installing it: it cannot be installed again.
